Currently Stacey is in the exciting throes
of working on music of her choice for the
first time in her whole career. Although
a huge fan and lover of Broadway musicals,
trying to fit into a certain stereotype
for musical theatre grew tiresome. Closing
the door on convention, new ones were opened,
and she is now working with a musical director on what will be the inspiration for her next one woman show and eventual recording project.
In spring 2006, Stacey was approached
by her dentist and bandleader Peter Silver
to sing with his Jazz Big Band, Blue Nitrous
(http://www.bluenitrous.com/).
Thrilled by the opportunity to sing in
front a 17 piece band, Stacey has become
the official vocalist of Blue Nitrous,
appearing with them monthly ever since.
A natural extension of her successful
voice over and commercial career, Stacey
has also ventured into the world of commercial
jingles, recording spots for numerous clients
from Chevy to Pringles.
